Fabric is the part of a chair you see and touch every day. Seeing it in your own light is the best way to choose with confidence.
Look at samples in different light
Place samples where the chair will sit and look at them in the morning, afternoon and evening. Colours can shift noticeably.
Think about texture and care
- Run your hand across the fabric in both directions.
- Consider who uses the room, including pets and grandchildren.
- Ask an advisor about care for the fabric you prefer.
Choose the fabric you will still enjoy on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon.
